Peach Cove Revisited

You may remember a while back I visited Peach Cove and painted a small 10×8″ piece I wasn’t quite happy with. Well I just got the chance to go back there and have another crack at it, but this time on a grey moody day and I like the end result much more. This isn’t an instructional video by any means, but I thought you might like to see the difference between a painting that I think is fairly ho-hum, and one that I really like. Here’s the link to the previous visit to Peach Cove: Painting Adventure : Peach Cove.

Happy Painting,

Richard.

Doug Allen 24/03/2025 It's almost as if they were painted by two different artist! You must have been having a bad day, a Monday maybe? I'd be happy if I could do the first one and ecstatic if I could paint the second, which, as Pamela says is very inviting and you could walk in there and be in the moment with the painter. Well done. You have amazing ability and skill. All the Best.
Pamela Wissinger 04/01/2020 Ho-hum to amazing. There is a story waiting to be told. Come this way the painting is speaking. Incredible drama and and color variation. Appreciate how you shared your masterful process. I liked the small painting's crispness, The larger painting is bold and beautiful. Very instructional even if not a tutorial. This is capturing the essence of WOW painting. Thanks!
