Why are some lessons free? What’s the catch?

There is NO catch! Become a free member and you get full access to ALL our painting lessons for 7 days to see if you like it. We don't ask for your payment details, so there's no way we can charge you after 7 days unless you then decide to join up. Join FREE here!

What happens to my personal data?

We never share your personal data (email address, name, etc.) with anyone.

Premium Membership

Do I really get access to everything as a paying member?

Yes! Your premium membership gives you access to all existing and future online lessons. Join here!

How do I cancel my premium subscription?

You can cancel your subscription any time.

  1. Sign in.
  2. Click on My Account > My Subscription

How does the premium membership work?

Premium membership costs $20usd/month and gives you access to all existing and future online lessons. You will be billed $20 on the first day you become a premium member and once every 30 days after that date. You will receive a payment confirmation and option to cancel every month. You can cancel easily at any time. If you want a refund for any amount of time you were a premium member you are welcome too it. Our goal is to have happy painters everywhere, starting with you. Join here!

How can I change my email preferences?

Sorry, we don’t currently have a way for you to change your username — so choose wisely :-)

How can I delete my account?

Just send us a message using the form on this page. We will delete your account for you.

Accessing your account

I want to recover my password or username.

Resetting your account is super easy. If you lost your password or username, just head over to the Lost Password page and enter your email or username. We’ll send you a password reset email within minutes. Be sure to use the email address that you signed up with.

I didn’t get my password reset email.

Didn’t get an email? Make sure you check your SPAM folder. If that doesn’t help, send us a message using the form on this page. We’ll get you up and painting in no time.

Accessing a course or video

How do I get a free lesson?

  1. Sign up for a free membership.
  2. Confirm your membership by clicking the link in the email we’ll send you.
  3. The link should take you to your account page where you will find your lesson waiting for you.

How do I access my lesson?

Once you enrol in a lesson, you will find it in My Account > Lessons. All of your courses can be accessed there, whenever you like, as often as you please, forever and ever!

Are the lessons available for download, so that I can access them offline?

We are unable to offer the courses for download at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Is there an app for my mobile device?

We do not currently offer an app, but our website is mobile-friendly and compatible with all major devices.

I didn’t receive my order confirmation

If you’ve purchased a lesson or paid for Premium Membership but haven’t received your order confirmation, make sure to check your SPAM email folder and add us to your list of safe senders. If you still can’t find our email after 10 minutes, please contact us using the form on this page.

Video problems

The videos don’t play properly.

Problems with the video stream (quality, interruptions, etc.) can have different reasons. To make sure you always get the best video quality, please keep your browser updated. We can recommend the Google Chrome browser which you can download here.

I’ve updated my browser, but it still doesn’t work!

If you’re still experiencing problems after updating your browser, the problem might be due to your internet connection. So you could try to:

  1. Turn off the HD mode of the videos,
  2. Make sure there are no other data-heavy downloads going on,
  3. Talk to your internet provider about the speed of your connection,
  4. Close all other applications to make sure your computer can allocate its resources to the video stream.

DVDs

How much does DVD postage cost if I live in the North Pole?

Good question. We deliver to most countries in the world, ALL for FREE. Sorry Santa, we don’t deliver to the North Pole. We also don’t deliver to Korea or South Africa.

How long will it take my DVD to arrive?

Within the USA up to 10 days.
Outside the USA up to 3 weeks.
Haven’t received your DVD within that time? Please let us know using the form on this page.

Can I track my DVD order?

Yes! And no. Yes if you’re in the USA. Only partially if you’re outside the USA (till it leaves the USA).

My DVD doesn’t work properly!

Try playing it in a different DVD player.

Still no good? Dang! That must be a dud DVD. That happens with about 1 in every thousand DVDs. Please let us know by using the form on this page and we’ll send you a replacement asap. Sorry about that! Oh please don’t bother returning the DVD to us.

I received two of the same dvd, can I return it?

Sometimes this happens, a glitch in the system. You will not have been charged for it. Check your own credit card or paypal account to confirm it yourself. Please just give it to a friend. Thanks!

Can I get a refund?

Yep! No problem. Just use the form on this page to ask for a full refund.

Will the DVD work on my DVD player?

The DVDs are made in NTSC, set for All Regions. It will play on all modern DVD players.
